A little about me: I am from the Grand Rapids area, but I actually grew up in Philadelphia, PA.

I went to Michigan State University for Music Education. ​At MSU, I played piano, sang in multiple choirs, and was in the marching band. In 2013, I studied abroad in South Africa and in 2014, I volunteered in Haiti teaching piano, conducting choral ensembles and counseling children. These experiences helped me to grow as a musician, teacher and person.

In my spare time, I enjoy singing and playing the ukulele. My husband and I also enjoy spending time with our corgi puppy, Kylo. He is named after a character in Star Wars (which is my favorite movie!).
